AN INSTAGRAM influencer spent five days in an Egyptian jail after climbing the ancient pyramids to take selfies.
Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 27, shared a picture on Instagram showing what appeared to his feet dangling over a pyramid with the Giza pyramid complex in the background.
The American-Russian YouTuber wrote in a caption that the five days he spent in jail were "the very worst" and wouldn't "wish this upon anybody".
However, he told his 3.1million followers he didn't regret it.
He wrote: "No words can explain what I just went through the past 5 days. I was loved up in Egypt because I climbed the Pyramids of Giza.
"I've been to jail many times but this one was by far the very worst.
"I saw horrible things and I don't wish this upon anybody. Was it worth it? F*** YEAH!
"I did it for a good cause and soon I'm going to share the whole video so the whole world can see."
The influencer has shared images of him climbing the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Egyptian Parliament made it illegal to climb the pyramids in November.
It ruled that anyone found "climbing any antiquity without obtaining a license" could face "at least one month's imprisonment and/or fine of no less than EGP 10,000 (£483.34) and not more than EGP 100,000 (£4,833.39)", Ahram Online reported.
One person commented on Vitaly's picture: "A view probably no one else would get a picture of. Dope shot!"
Another added: "brother... i love ya... but you’re nuts!"
It is the first time the YouTuber has found himself in trouble with the law as he has streaked at some of the biggest sports events before.
The prankster was arrested for running onto the field during the 2016 NBA and 2017 MBL finals.
